PSOL’s national president, Paula Coradi, had her entry visa in the United States withdrawn by the government of Donald Trump. According to Coradi, the action took place after his participation in the Congress of the Democratic Socialists of America in August.
“Donald Trump’s government attacks PSOL’s performance through the removal of my US entry visa. I was there last month at the @densocialist congress to provide solidarity against the advancement of far-right authoritarianism in the country and denouncing Trump’s tariff against Brazil,” Coradi said on social networks.
Federal Deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) stated that the party and Brazil will not accept intimidation. “The US has revoked our President Paula Coradi’s visa only shows that we are on the right side, on the side of Brazilians against Trump’s attacks,” he said.
