Union ceremony of former mayor and Vanessa Rahal Canado was celebrated by businessman Nizan Guanaes
The former mayor of the House of Representatives, 55, married on Saturday (27.Set.2025) with the lawyer and teacher, on the tax island, in Rio.
Vanessa is a teacher and coordinator of the Taxation Center of. He was a tax teacher at FGV (Getúlio Vargas Foundation) for 11 years (2008-2019). He also served as a researcher and executive coordinator of the FGV Fiscal Studies Center from 2009 to 2013.
According to his in the Insper website, Vanessa was a tax partner in several offices (Mattos Filho, BM&A, Eurico de Santi, CSMV and FM/Espiik) from 2007 to 2019.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked as director and researcher at the CCIF (Center for Fiscal Citizenship). From 2019 to 2021, he was a special advisor to the Minister of Economy for matters related to the tax reform – in the period, the position was held by Paulo Guedes. Is currently a consultant in public policy in the tax area (tax policy).
