With 31,000 points of sale in 72 regions of the country, Grand Trade is one of the main importers of food products and FMCG (fast -moving consumer goods).

“I want to take acai, because it’s a super new product. It’s coming in Russia. It’s a super food. I want to bring this food to my shelves and sell. I’m looking for good suppliers of this product here,” said Oksana.

The executive also shared her positive experience with Acai, who first tasted at an Apex fair in Dubai. “I was delighted with taste and quality. We also want to take coffee, because I tasted here and I was impressed. I’m sure people will enjoy it very much,” he added.

*Export more Amazon in Acre*

The program, carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), connects Brazilian companies to international buyers and will have as focus products from the Amazon region that are compatible with the forest. The initiative takes place on the eve of COP30, which will be held in November, in Belém (PA), reinforcing the Amazonian protagonism in discussions about sustainability and business.

This will be the largest edition of the program since 2023. In all, more than 60 companies in the Northern Region (44 from Acre) will face 25 foreign buyers from five continents interested in products such as acai and processed fruits, Brazil nuts, robust coffee, crafts, pork and beef and cassava flour. In the two previous editions, the export most Amazon has already moved R $ 85 million in business for companies in the region.
