Trump will meet on Monday (29.Set) with Netanyahu at the White House. The expectation is to discuss the terms of an agreement.

The theme also dominated that of Thursday (25.Set) between Trump and the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in Washington – the 1st official meeting among the 2 leaders in the official residence in 6 years. According to Erdogan, there was consensus on the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the search for a two-state solution for the conflict.

“We discuss how a ceasefire can be achieved in Gaza and throughout Palestine. The current situation cannot continue”said the Turkish President, critic of Israeli military operations.

Last week, during the UN General Assembly, Trump told Israel’s Arab leaders, according to the website Politico. The Republican team would also have presented a plan with details of the measures to end the war, which includes the promise of avoiding annexations.
