Vienna – Freedom of information came into force four weeks ago. According to the municipal association, an inquiry on communities has failed to materialize. The municipalities would not require more information than before, said a spokesman to the APA. Markus Hametner, board member of the NGO forum, was disappointed with the speed of the answers. Many houses would apparently not take the obligation to “answer unnecessary delay”.
