The anticipation is part of the process started when Marques acquired the stadium management in July this year. The businessman, who is also a gremist fan, invested $ 145 million in the purchase of parts of the arena debts, concluding a negotiation that lasted years.

About 40 employees currently working on the complex’s daily operation will remain in their positions.
During the meeting, it was established that a document will formalize two conditions:
- the separation between administration and cash from the Arena from the club;

Marques will continue to finance improvements in the stadium by the end of the year. Planned interventions are the replacement of the lawn after the end of the season, the installation of LED panels in the arena rings for advertising use and the improvement of the site.
The businessman recently gave up running for the club’s presidency and diminished his investments at the Rio Grande do Sul club after the purchase of the stadium and the loan of R $ 63 million for hiring in the transfer window.
