This is an ideal proposition for people who like the taste of beets, but not only. If you want to eat something delicious for dinner and just take care of your health, be sure to try this recipe. Chili peppers and chopped herbs add character.
- 2 beets (about 300 g),
- 1 carrot (about 150 g),
- 400 g of red cabbage,
- 1 red onion,
- 1 clove of garlic,
- a piece of chili peppers,
- 1 tablespoon of fresh, chopped herbs (e.g. mint),
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- 4 tablespoons of natural yogurt,
- ½ orange juice,
- Salt, pepper (to taste).
Peel beets and carrots. Grate the grater on large meshes. Transfer to a large bowl.
Finely chop the cabbage leaves. Peel and cut the onion into feathers. Mix cabbage and onions with grated vegetables.
Finely chop garlic and chili. Stir into the rest of the vegetables.
In a separate dish, combine mayonnaise, natural yogurt and orange juice. Mix to a uniform sauce.
Add sauce to vegetables in a bowl. Mix Season with salt and pepper.
Set aside the salad for 30 minutes so that the flavors bite. Serve with chopped herbs.
