The (National Confederation of Family Farmers and Rural Family Entrepreneurs), the second largest investigated in fraud in (National Institute of Social Security), continues to capture associates while investigated by the PF (Federal Police).
The entity conducted online training at the end of August for new salespeople. The goal is to seek associates who to pay $ 37 per month. Those who get a new customer get 10% of the monthly fee as a commission, the equivalent of R $ 3.70.
Conafer presents its target audience as “low-income and low market awareness” people. They are: family farmers, riverside, quilombolas, original peoples. Informal workers, autonomous, elderly, mothers, young people, low -income families and no health insurance.
On its website, the entity lists several benefits to its customers, such as R $ 200 for the purchase of medicines, R $ 1,000 in case of accidental death and raffles of R $ 10,000 monthly, among others.
On the page, there are testimonials from alleged customers. A person identified as Julio Cesar Pataxó says that, as an indigenous leadership, he feels respected and valued at Conofer. “They seriously support us, strengthen our culture and guarantee speech space in national debates,” he wrote.
A photo follows the testimonial. In a search for image on the internet, it is possible to find the same portrait in the social networking profiles of people identified as Pedro Augusto Francisco Neto, Jorge Andrade and Luiz Gustavo Ribeiro, among others.
The same is true of the photos of family farmer Ricardo R. Ramos and entrepreneur Anne Roberta.
Despite the false photos, the entity states on its website that it has more than 70 thousand active affiliates throughout Brazil. In a letter published on her social networks in June this year, she claimed to have 597,200 associates with valid and current bond.

Conafer is the second entity with more associative discounts registered with the INSS, with R $ 484 million discounted between 2019 and 2024, behind only from Contag (National Confederation of Agriculture Workers), which received R $ 2.1 billion in the period.
Following the outbreak of the operation without discount by the Federal Police, the INSS blocked all automatic discounts on social security benefits, which generated cash problems for Conafer. The solution was to seek new customers.
