On the eve of a meeting with US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday, 28, that Israel is working on a new ceasefire plan with the White House, but the details are still being defined.
Netanyahu has faced strong international pressure to end the war, especially during the offensive in progress in the city of Gaza.
The death toll between Israel and Hamas exceeded 66,000 Palestinians, the Gaza Ministry of Health said on Sunday.

At Monday’s White House meeting, Trump is expected to share a new proposal to end the conflict.
“We’re working on it,” Netanyahu told Fox News The Sunday Briefing. “It has not yet been finalized, but we are working with President Trump’s team, in fact while we talk, and I hope we can make it happen.”
Arab authorities informed about the plan say that the proposal of 21 points calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages maintained by Hamas within 48 hours and a gradual withdrawal from the Israeli forces of Gaza. Authorities spoke on anonymity because the proposal has not yet been formally announced.
