In the small village of Minde, in the municipality of Alcanena, there are still those who speak a curious language that originates from the basic need to discuss prices without their customers noticing.
The Mindericos were 18th century marketers, that settled in the region to sell all types of products, especially the blankets.
Only they liked to regret the price and set boundaries with each other. Therefore, in order to talk without anyone understanding them, they ended up even creating a new language, even today spoken in Minde, as a report of.
The tongue has become so rooted in the community that, even today, especially among the elders, there are still many expressions in Minderico who escape through the middle of Portuguese.
