Management interlocutors () criticize slowness at the State Public Security Bureau, to stand two projects in partnership with the Military Police.
The first, sent to the Secretariat in May this year, provides for a partnership in which the City Hall is committed to renovations in the sports facilities of the Barro Branco Academy, in the North Zone of the capital.
On the other hand, PMs with physical education training would teach classes at the athletics track, bodybuilding gym, pool and multi -sport courts for students from the municipal network, up to 16 years old.
Author of the proposal, the deputy mayor, Mello Araújo (PL), says that the administration has already reserved R $ 4 million for renovations and construction of two classrooms at the gym.
850 students are expected to attend classes at Barro Branco Academy. “It is good for the city, it is good for the state because it will reform the athletics track and it is good for the police. This is community policing, the children will lose that fear of approaching the police,” says Mello.
To date there has been no response from the Tarcisio de Freitas Government Secretariat (Republicans), however.
The second proposal, sent to the Secretariat in July this year, foresees that for children and adolescents in squares and parks of the city.
“Only the signature is missing from the secretariat to start, but I don’t know where it crashed. I didn’t talk to Derrite,” says Mello Araújo.
In a note to the panel, the secretary said the two agreements were sent to legal and technical analysis of the agency.
“Upon completion of this step, the folder will define the necessary measures for the continuation of the agreements, in accordance with the legal and administrative procedures,” says the note.
