It announced on Tuesday 30/9 that it would cancel all flight departures on October 14 due to the national team organized by the Belgian trade unions to protest against the austerity program proposed by the government.
“Due to the National Trade Union Action on Tuesday, October 14th, in which the staff of the Security Services company participate, unfortunately we expect significant impact on our airport functions,” his main airport said in a statement.
“In order to ensure the safety of our passengers and staff, we have decided, in consultation with the airlines, not to allow any outgoing passenger flight to take place on October 14.”
