Meeting in Beijing will define the development strategies of the five -year China; will be attended by Xi Jinping and 370 leaders
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China defined on Tuesday (30.Set.2025) that will hold its plenary session from 20 to 23 October in Beijing. The meeting will have as its main objective to discuss the 15th five -year plan, a document that will establish the guidelines for Chinese development from 2026 to 2030.
The meeting will be attended by President Xi Jinping and more than 370 members of the Central Committee. The meeting takes place in a context of challenges in relations between China and the United States, an element that influences Chinese strategic planning for the next five -year.
The preliminary document of the 15th five -year plan will undergo revisions based on discussions before being presented at next month’s plenary session. The 14th Chinese five -year plan is in its last year.
After approval at the October Plenary Session, the Plan will be submitted to the annual legislative session in March 2026 to receive final endorsement before it comes into force. The October Plenary Session serves as a stage for deliberations on China’s development in the coming years, completing a stage of the country’s planning cycle.
