Rapper Oruam is shrugged by fans after 69 days in pre -trial detention

Oruam, a Brazilian rapper and son of one of the Red Command leaders, was released after 69 days in pre -trial detention. The court considered that there was not enough reasons to maintain detention, highlighting the small amount of drugs seized (73g of cocaine) and the “good background of the rapper”.

On departure from prison, Oruam was received at a party and shrugged by fans and colleagues such as MC Poze do Rodo and MC Cabelinho. Despite the release, he was subject to various precautionary measures, including electronic bracelet and night collection.

The musician was arrested in July after police found a red -tied teenager at his home and publicize videos to challenge the authorities. It is accused of association with trafficking, resistance, contempt and other crimes.
