Pavol Gašpar, Director of the Slovak Information Service (SIS), is to be heard at the police in the matter of his traffic accident during October. This was stated for TASR by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force (PZ) in Nitra Viktória Borloková.
The director of the SIS was a participant in the traffic accident, which happened on August 30 on Dobšinského Street in Nitra, when he was driving the yellow Dodge Challenger. A 14 -year -old girl was easily injured in the second car who had to be treated in the hospital. Martina Bajo Holečková, MEP, informed SaS. According to her, it is unusual that a month after the accident Gašpar has not yet been heard.
The Nitra police spokeswoman explained that Gašpar, as a participant in the accident for his workload, asked for a deadline for hearing in the second half of September. “However, at this time, a member of the CA, who clarifies the traffic event, was incapable of work because of illness. Subsequently he had the planned exit services. In view of the above, the deadline for hearing was translated for October 2025. This is a standard procedure”Borloková said.
As she added, An expert from the Road Transport Department will be assigned to the proceedings. “The deadline for termination of clarification cannot be set in advance before performing all the necessary actions,” the police spokeswoman recalled.
