The NATO Center for Counteriniations in Krakow, Poland, will lead a Slovak. On Wednesday, the Polish Colonel Mariusz Nogaj was handed over Slovak colonel Michal Forgách. This is reported by TASR, referring to the Slovak Embassy in Warsaw.
Center in which Slovakia and Poland are leading countries, It focuses on the preparation of experts in combating foreign intelligence activities. It also includes a training center Lešť in Central Slovakia.
To the activities of the NATO Center in Krakow In addition to Slovakia and Poland, nine other countries – Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia and the USA participate. France has the status of an observer in the resort.
Since its foundation in 2016, the center has been one of the major institutions of the Alliance in the Counterintelligence. According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, its activities contributes to the strengthening of NATO security architecture and is one of the pillars of reactions to the current changing threats.
