According to the historical series (2015-2025), the state had gradually reduced the rates since 2022, when nine femicides were accounted for. However, in 2025, the numbers rose again, indicating the risk of the year overcoming the 2024 mark. The current rate is 0.84 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, against 0.95 by 2024 and 1.08 in 2022.
Between January and August 2025, there were peaks in June and August, when two cases occurred each month. Already in 2024, the pattern was more dispersed, with femicides distributed in different periods of the year. This behavior indicates that even in a partial cut, 2025 already has a higher intensity of records at short intervals.
Another relevant data is the number of attempts at femicide. In 2024, there were 53 occurrences, representing a rate of 6.39 per 100 thousand inhabitants. By 2025, until August, there were 39 cases, which corresponds to 4.70 per 100,000 inhabitants.
