Denmark has closed the airspace for civilian drones, USA and other countries provide defense

International support

Recent drone incidents have led to the temporary closure of several Danish airports, including in Copenhagen, which is the largest in Northern Europe. Summit plans

On Thursday, Copenhagen will host the European Political Community Summit (EPC), which has 47 members. In addition to EU leaders, there will also be NATO representatives, the Council of Europe and the organizations for security and cooperation in Europe.

For security reasons, Denmark announced on Sunday that it would close its airspace for all civilian unmanned aircraft by Friday.

Suspicions of Russia

The police have not yet found out who is behind the above -mentioned incidents. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Thursday that Denmark has been a victim of hybrid attacks in recent days. On Monday, she pointed out Russia as a country -threatening security in Facebook.

On Tuesday, Denmark increased the level of safety for energy equipment to orange, which is the second highest level, informs AFP. Thousands of cops will also go to Copenhagen streets.
