The team is in the final stages of structuring to become the 11th F-1 circus team in 2026 and has already announced the name of its two riders: Mexican Sergio Perez and Finnish Valtteri Bottas. With just less than five months to go to Formula 1’s debut, work at Cadillac has been divided into two main centers: the United States, located in Charlotte, and the British installation in Silverstone, which will serve as operational headquarters in Europe.
The official debut is scheduled for March 8 next year, when the team will play their first race at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
The Brazilian, who is the grandson of former driver Emerson Fittipaldi, won the World Series 3.5 title and worked seven years as a reserve of the Haas team in Formula 1, where he played two GPS in 2020.
