Missiles launched by Iran to counterattack Israel
USA and Israel attacked nuclear facilities in June. They will now work more intensively on the “Pick mountain.
O Van intensified the construction of one underground nuclear complex deeply fortified, known as “Pick mountain”.
These advances appear after the attacks launched in June by the United States and Israel against their main nuclear facilities.
The information was advanced by satellite images analyzed by independent experts, who reveal signs of reconstruction and reinforcement of the Iranian nuclear capacity.
The works suggest that Tehran may be reconstructing and cautiously strengthening its nuclear program.
Located south of the Natanz Complex-the central target of the 22 June-the site of Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La has been developed since 2020, when Tehran announced that it would host a new centrifugal assembly factory, replacing the surface installation destroyed in sabotage acts.
However, the dimension and depth of the underground infrastructure raise suspicions that the aim can be more sensitive, including the possibility of secret uranium enrichment or storage of nuclear material.
Three changes Main have occurred from the attacks: a safety perimeter of more than 1km, reinforcement of a tunnel input and visible increase of excavated land – clear evidence of expanding underground works.
Analysts estimate that the halls excavated in the mountainous massif are 80 to 100 meters deeppotentially below the complex of previously considered the most protected of Iran.
Increased activity arises after US attacks have destroyed about 22,000 centrifuges, according to the Institute for International Science and Security.
Although Donald Trump declared that the Iranian nuclear program was “fully obliterated”, secret evaluations point to uncertainties regarding the degree of destruction in Natanz and Isfahan.
Another open issue is the destination of the stock of almost 400 kilos of 60% enriched uranium reported by the Atomic International Energy Agency (AIEA) before the attacks. Part may be buried under the rubble, but the exact location is unknown, feeding fears of clandestine use.
