“IFOOD is multimodal: it combines bicycles, motorcycles, cars, boats, robots and now also drones to connect a complex delivery ecosystem. The drone enters to resolve excerpts that would not make sense to the delivery man, who is still allocated to more productive routes,” Rodolfo Klautau, IFOOD logistics director.
At this stage of the operation, the capacity is 280 orders per day with seven days, ten hours a day.

In addition to the resumption of the route, the operation now has an aircraft capable of loading up to 5 pounds, against a previous limit of 3 pounds. The drone flies at 50mk/h at an altitude of up to 60 meters – the same as a 20 -story building – operated by a Speedbird Aero Control Center in Franca (SP). It supports winds of up to 55km/HE light rain, and is equipped with a parachute for falling cases.
