Military Police finds six corpses in the abandoned car on road

The Rio de Janeiro Military Police (PMERJ) found, on Tuesday night (9/30), six bodies inside a car on the Bandeirantes Road in Jacarepaguá, West Zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

According to the 18th PM Battalion, the teams were called to verify the occurrence of corpses located in a vehicle. Upon arriving at the scene, the agents isolated the area for the work of the expertise. The case was registered and referred to the Homicide Police Station (DH), which will be responsible for the investigations.

In a statement, DH reported that the initial information indicates that the bodies were left inside the car. “Diligences are underway to clarify the circumstances of the fact and investigate the authorship of the crimes,” the police station said.

So far, the identities of the victims and details about the motivation of the crime have not been disclosed. Investigations are still in progress to clarify the case.
