The Ministry of Environment guaranteed this Wednesday that the E -lar program, to support families to improve the thermal comfort of housing, is already working normally, having received more than six thousand candidacies on the first day.
The Environmental Fund page for people applying for the E -lar program began operating on Tuesday at 11:00 but was unavailable or with strong disturbances throughout the day, a problem that the guardianship attributed to the great influx of candidates: before the opening of the candidacies, 385 thousand hits were registered, the ministry said.
During the morning of Wednesday, he assured him Lusa that the page is already working normally, having until 10:00 entered 6,133 candidacies, with another 2,273 in the process of completing.
The program is intended to strengthen the fight against energy poverty and promote thermal comfort of needy dwellings, encourage the replacement of old equipment with new consumption new equipment, and accelerate the electrification of consumption replacing gas equipment with electric.
Supports can be used, for example, to buy induction and conventional induction boards, electrical ovens or electrical thernes. People who apply and whose application is approved receive a “voucher” support for the operation.
