New software, new hardware: Google promotes the smart home to the Gemini age

Finally, it almost looked like Google had given up the topic of smart home. The once so strongly forced competition with Amazon’s Echo series has been neglected for years. While the software is plagued by a growing number of bugs, there has been no new Google hardware from this area for a long time. As a reminder: The second generation Nest Hub was launched in 2021.
