Santos Dumont Airport has track released after oil leakage

The track of (SDU), NO, was released for landings and takeoffs at 5:25 pm, the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) recently reported. The Brazilian Association of Airlines () says 161 flights have been impacted throughout the day. The operations were impacted by a hydraulic oil leakage that occurred on Tuesday (30).

In a statement, Infraero says that, exceptionally, will extend the operating time of the airport to assist in the regularization of flights. Santos Dumont’s regular operating time is from 6am to 11pm. “All available resources were used to release the track in the shortest possible time, meeting the normative criteria.… The resumption of flights was conditioned to the complete removal of the product,” the statement emphasizes.
