There is no doubt that the federal government is not committed to the sustainability of public accounts in the country, but the Brazilian fiscal fragility, also stems from the National Congress
The (CMO) increased the electoral fund to $ 4.9 billion. The amount initially proposed by the government was $ 1 billion. There is no doubt that this government does not act with fiscal responsibility. Transitional PEC, proposition of a fragile – focused on the collection, not the expense – swelling of the machine, damage and expansion of subsidized credit are examples of the lack of commitment of the federal government to the sustainability of the country’s public accounts.
However, the Brazilian fiscal fragility, materialized in the high primary deficit and growing indebtedness, also derives from its billionaire amendments, party fund and electoral fund.
Regrettably, many parliamentarians charge the government’s fiscal responsibility, but they are the first to approve budgetary measures that benefit them. From left to right, with rare exceptions, everyone wants a piece of their share. At these times, physiologism and patrimonialism speak louder than ideologies and values.
Meanwhile, the middle class continues to pay the three powers account and carry this country on the back.
