Porto FC announced the best result ever: a profit higher than thirty -nine million euros last season alone. This is the annual account report sent to the Securities Market Commission. This document will be presented in the morning at the Dragon Stadium.
FC Porto has achieved “the best result ever”. SAD announced on Wednesday that in the financial year 20224/25 it reached a net result “record of 39.2 million euros and recovered more than 103.3 million euros in its own capital (from 113.8m negative to 10.5 million negative)”.
The data are in the Sent to the Securities Market Commission and which was presented this Wednesday morning at the Dragon Stadium and show a very different result from what was achieved last season, before the entry of André Villas-Boas.
“The profits greater than 39 million euros are the best result of always SAD Portista, who managed to reverse the losses presented in 2023/24 (-21m) at a time when the club participated in the Europa League, which resulted in a revenue breach of more than 47m.”
According to the report, the figures presented are due not only “The positive operating result before pass transactions, the growth of business revenues resulting from the increase in the number of members, the sale of annual places, the diuretics and a significant reduction in costs.”
As well as “The unpublished amounts obtained with pass transactions, the total restructuring of the financial debt – which allowed it to lengthen maturity and reduce its average cost – and the significant improvement of liquidity, the result of the reduction of 212 million euros in the difference between assets and current liabilities.”
FC Porto SAD pointed out that, although it did not attend the Champions League, the club was able to reduce costs and create conditions to invest in the first team’s squad.
