Rodrigo Nestor still discounted for visitors, but it was not enough. Bahia lost Sanabria, expelled, and played much of the second stage with a man less.
The result leaves Botafogo in fourth place in the Brazilian Championship, with 43 points. Mirassol, who tied in the round, has the same number, but is fifth. Bahia parks at 40 and is the sixth place.

In the first seconds of the second stage, Botafogo expanded. Léo Linck launched the attack, the defense moved badly and Botafogo worked the ball. Savarino crossed in the area, Cuiabano took his leftover and tried the kick. Jeffinho deflected midway and sent to the bottom of the goal.
