Roraima Military Police Major (PMRR) Edmilson Costa Lima, 43, and her boyfriend, Kevin Wilclen Souza Pereira, 20, were arrested on suspicion of integrating a network that promoted parties and exploited sexually teenagers. The arrests occurred in the context of the illegal operation, triggered by the Roraima Civil Police (PCRR) to dismantle the criminal structure.
Edmilson Costa Lima was arrested on the 25th, at Boa Vista International Bus Station, when he arrived from Amazonas on a commercial bus. Kevin Wilclen handed over to the Child and Adolescent Protection Police Station (DPCA) last Tuesday (30/8). The young man is investigated for favoring the prostitution of minors, criminal association, supply of alcohol to adolescents and illegal possession of firearms.

In addition to the major and boyfriend, the operation also aimed others involved, including a Civil Police agent, a judicial analyst of the Roraima Court of Justice and a commercial manager whose identities have not been disclosed so far.
According to DPCA deputy Matheus Rezende, investigations indicate that the victims were between 14 and 16 years old and were taken to parties in the residences of the investigated, where sexual exploitation occurred. Testimonials indicate that the accused have used their social positions and public positions to hide criminal practice.
After the arrest, Edmilson underwent an examination of the crime and was taken to the Capital Policing Command, under the follow -up of the PM Corregedoria.
The Military Police issued a statement stating that they are collaborating with the authorities in the investigation of the case.
