Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Court (STF), ordered this Thursday (2) the PGR (Attorney General’s Office) to comment on requests for preventive arrest against Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP). The deadline for the manifestation determined by the magistrate is 5 days.
In the order, the minister cites requests from federal deputies Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) and Talíria Perone (PSOL-RJ). Parliamentarians also request the blocking of salary payments and compensation.
Government parliamentarians also ask the minister to determine that the Board of Directors and the House Ethics Council immediately appreciate the requests for revocation against the deputy.
“The decree of the pre -trial detention of Eduardo Bolsonaro, pursuant to Article 312 of the CPP, to guarantee public order, economic order, criminal instruction and the application of criminal law, in the face of the permanence of the coup manifestations and intensification of illicit action in foreign territory,” the parliamentarians say to the minister.
Eduardo has been in the United States since February this year and was recently reported by the PGR for the crime of coercion in the course of the process, due to his performance in the foreign country against the process that condemned his father, Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Last Tuesday (30), the STF published an announcement that notifies the deputy to respond to the PGR complaint within 15 days. Prior to that, bailiffs claimed that they could not notify the parliamentarian.
In the decision that determined the notification by public notice, Moraes considered that there was no doubt that Eduardo was “creating difficulties” not to be notified. With the publication of the notice, the deadline for response is already being counted.
