The councilwoman (PSOL-SP) filed on Wednesday (1st) a representation at the Prosecutor of Public and Social Heritage of the capital against the mayor of São Paulo (MDB), on suspicion of overpricing in.
The representation cites purchase by the city of Cannabidiol vials in the range of $ 850 to $ 1,900. Products similar to sale on the market have an average variation of R $ 426 to R $ 931, indicates the text.
The bidding was won by Velox Transportation of Products and Services, after competitors were disqualified by alleged technical breach. One of the requirements provided for in the announcement was that the composition had vitamin E and omega-3, which was considered a restrictive clause.
Another point raised in the representation is that the bottles delivered to patients have the softcann brand, although hiring was done in the name of Velox.
The representation asks for an investigation to be opened and that the notice be analyzed. It also requests the accountability of Nunes for administrative misconduct.
“There is no question here the free distribution of medicines by SUS, an extremely necessary and positive measure, but the possible overpricing of the purchase,” says the councilwoman.
“Illegality that, in the event of future proof, may harm those who need the therapeutic cannabis by dramatically reducing the impact potential of this public policy, since resources that could benefit thousands of people may be swallowed for a minority.”
