Condemned by the Supreme for invasion of the CNJ system, the deputy has been arrested in Italy since July 29; absences in the House can lead to the revocation of the mandate
The 120-day license granted to the federal deputy (PL-SP) ends on Thursday (2.out.2025). The congressman is trapped in Italy. It was by the Supreme Court (STF) for invasion of the CNJ (National Council of Justice) system.
With the end of the removal period, the House will begin to count Zambelli’s absences in the legislative sessions. According to the Rules of Procedure, deputies who are absent from more than 1/3 of the annual sessions without justification may lose their mandate.
The mayor, (Republicans-PB), on July 5 the license to the deputy. She asked for 7 days for a “Health Treatment” and 120 more per “Particular interest”.
The end of the license comes during the case at the CCJ (Constitution and Justice Commission) that can lead to the revocation of Zambelli’s mandate, sentenced to 10 years in prison by the invasion of the CNJ system.
The 1st class of the Supreme Court on May 14. Weeks later, she through the land border with Argentina and went to Italy, she said “medical treatment”.
In testimony for video conferencing the CCJ, the congressman reported during the detention period. “If you see me here, I’m looking like an old woman. I walk slowly, I can’t get up so easy. I have a lot of headache, my fibromyalgia is very much high. And I also think a little because of the whole disappointment, this thing of persecution ”declared Zambelli.
