Artist has been hospitalized in the hospital ICU in Brasilia since Thursday (2.out) with symptoms of methanol poisoning

The rapper Hungary team reported in a note on Friday (3.out.2025) that the artist presented “Positive evolution in its clinical picture”. The singer is hospitalized in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at DF Star Hospital in Brasilia, since Thursday (2.out.2025), after suspected of having drunk adulterated.

Gustavo of Hungary Neves, known artistically as hip-hop Hungary, was hospitalized with symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, cloudy vision and metabolic acidosis-a condition in which the body produces excess acid that cannot be eliminated by the kidneys.

The suspect arose after the rapper consumed vodka at the house of a friend in Vicente Pires, a region about 20 km from the center of the federal capital.

According to the note issued by their team, laboratory tests already indicate improvement, with normalization of metabolic indices. The specific outcome of the methanol detection exam, however, should only be released next week.

Methanol is described as a highly flammable, toxic and difficult substance. Your ingestion, inhalation or prolonged contact may cause nausea, dizziness, seizures, blindness and, in extreme cases, lead to death.

The Civil Police adopted measures related to the case, closing the distributor where the drinks would have been acquired and seizing bottles sold at the establishment, still on the afternoon of Thursday (2.out.2025).
