Minister Ultra Israelí Ben Gvir calls terrorists to flotilla activists and some respond “free Palestine”

Itamar Ben Gvir, the ultra -rightist minister of National Security, the portfolio on which the police depend, moved this Thursday night to the port of Ashdod where, in a video released in social networks, it is seen as he calls “terrorists” to the activists detained from the Global Sumud Flot, which appear sitting on the ground in what looks like a nave of the port.

“These are the terrorists of the flotilla,” says Ben Gvir while pointing them with his finger, “look at them, the terrorists who support the murderers,” he repeats in allusion to Hamas. While speaking, you hear how some of the activists chant “Free Palestine” (free Palestine). The minister, representative of the extreme Jewish and antiárabe supremacist right, is the leader of the Otzma Yehudit party (Jewish power).

The National Security head continues later, always in a derogatory tone, underlining the “disorder” that, according to him, there were inside the flotilla ships. Ben Gvir appears in other images in what he says is one of them and then says “not seeing any humanitarian aid there”, before remarking that the police have described what was happening in intercepted vessels on Wednesday in international waters by Israel as “a great party”.

This is not the first time that Ben Gvir goes to a detention center or a prison to increase someone there. In mid -August, another video was disclosed in which he appears threatening inside his cell to the leader of Fatah – the main faction of the Palestinian authority – Marwan Barghouti, imprisoned since 2002.
