Former President House arrest and will have 5 days to answer if he accepts to talk to “Folha”, “See” and the “Café com Ferri” podcast respecting confidentials and judicial measures
The minister of (Supreme Federal Court) Alexandre de Moraes determined that the defense of the former president (PL), who is under house arrest in Brasilia, tells if he wants to give an interview to the newspaper S.Paulo Folhato the magazine Look and to the podcast Coffee with Ferripresented by investor Rafael Ferri, former transfers club.
The requests to talk to the former president, for attempted coup d’état for the court and forbidden to speak with the press, were presented by the vehicles to the Supreme. Moraes is the rapporteur of the action. The final decision on the interviews is up to the magistrate, as well as requests for visits to Bolsonaro.
In the request filed this Thursday (2.out.2025), the producer of Podcast says that “The specific modulation of any precautionary measures incident to allow the interview, without live transmission and with full respect for secrecy and judicial decisions.”
The company also requested authorization for the accreditation of the filming team. The defense of the former executive chief now has 5 days to answer.
In the case of Lookwas requested “Interview with former President Jair Bolsonaro about elections, with the consent of his own and his patrons, with date, duration of the interview and quantity of questions at the interviewee’s discretion”. Moraes also gave on Wednesday (1st.out) 5 days for the defense of manifesting.
Bolsonaro has been in house arrest since August 4 after being imposed by the court. The decision was an unfolding of, investigating the coercion crimes in the course of the process, obstruction of investigation of criminal organization and attempted abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law.
Bolsonaro’s lawyer and former advisor, Fabio Wajngarten, on his X (former Twitter) profile the interview request made by Coffee with ferri.
