The deputy (PSOL-SP) met this Thursday (2) with representatives of São Paulo and directors of public universities to discuss, after clashes between politicians and students in recent months.
The deputy met with the Deputy Attorney General of the Public Prosecution Service of São Paulo, Ivan Francisco Pereira Agostinho, and with the prosecutor Tatiana Calé Heilman.
Also participated were Adrián Pablo Fanjul, director of FFLCH (Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of USP), Frederico Favoretto, FFLCH board, as well as Professor Ronaldo Almeida, IFCH-UNICAMP, and Pedro Chiquitti, DCE Free from USP.
The meeting sought to discuss recent friction between university students and parliamentarians, such as the councilman of São Paulo (PL), Guarulhos councilman Kleber Ribeiro (PL) and former state deputy Douglas Garcia (Republicans).
At least three occasions, two of them this year. In both, he was expelled from college by students. Kleber Ribeiro was at Unifesp (Federal University of São Paulo) and fought with students, while Douglas Garcia was.
At the meeting at the São Paulo Public Prosecution Service, Sâmia asked the body to adopt measures to prevent this type of action in universities. She also intends to go to the MEC (Ministry of Education) with colleges directors to resume a Dilma Government standard that reaffirmed universities as human rights advocates.
