According to the new rules, motorcycles, helmets and vests should undergo a compulsory survey before circulating. The procedure will be annual and may be anticipated in cases of vehicle exchange or complaints. Anyone who does not meet the requirements within 30 days may have the right to act suspended.
Among the changes is the standardization of the visual identity of vehicles. In the motorcycle taxi, the stickers will follow the model provided by RBTrans, while the motorcycles should adopt the orange color with the highlighted authorization numbering. The chest used for deliveries will need to contain reflective ranges to reinforce safety.
The ordinance also establishes new criteria for personal protective equipment. The helmets will be white, with red reflective bands, RBTrans identification stickers and blood type indication. The vests will follow a unique model, designed to ensure greater visibility at the night.
Another change is related to motorcycle protection. The traditional “trim forest” can be replaced by fairing protectors in metal handles as long as the safety level is equivalent.
