Images from security cameras caught the moment when Marcelo da Silva de Alencar, 38, a homeless resident, was murdered with iron bar blows in the courtyard of a building materials company. The crime occurred on September 7, in Rio Branco, capital of Acre.

Investigations from the Homicide and Personnel Protection Police Station (DHPP) pointed as the perpetrator of the crime João Batista da Silva, 69. He was arrested on the night of last Thursday (2), on Rui Barbosa Street, in the PapoCo neighborhood, central region of the city.
According to police, victim and suspect would have discussed moments before the attack. During the disagreement, João Batista took an iron bar and hit Marcelo several times. The victim died at the scene.
