Pensioners to whom the Social Insurance Agency (SP) pays the pension in cash through the Slovak Post will be signed by a new document – postal voucher from November 2025 when receiving a pension with the deliverers or directly at the post office. “The Slovak Post and the Social Insurance Agency will also inform the Pensioners in advance during October through special leaflets, which will be delivered to them by their postal delivery or will be available at the post office branches,” SP spokesman Martin contours said. The postal voucher for the payment of the pension is valid as standard 30 days from the date of the payment date. By this time it is necessary to take the pension. The introduction of the payment of pensions by postal vouchers, according to contour, will not be a complication for pensioners, and in connection with this change, they will not experience a negative impact.
The Social Insurance Agency pays about 30 percent of the pension benefits by post. The remaining 70 percent are sent to bank accounts.
