In my opinion, there is no better recipe for apple pie than the one by sister Anastasia – it is extremely delicate and has a truly paradise taste. It will impress everyone.

Cake:

  • 500 g of wheat flour,
  • 150 g of powdered sugar,
  • 300 g of margarine (or butter),
  • 2 raw yolks,
  • 7 cooked yolks,
  • 3 flat teaspoons of baking powder,
  • 3 tablespoons of thick cream,
  • 1 vanilla sugar.

Apple mass:

  • 1.5 kg of apples (preferably slightly acidic),
  • 1 lemon jelly in powder,
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water,
  • 1 tablespoon of butter,
  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs,
  • 250 g of dried fruit and nuts,
  • Sugar to taste.

Grate the margarine with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Gradually add raw yolks and cooked yolks, wiped on a sieve. Gholy with a mixer until the mass is light and fluffy.

Add sifted flour with baking powder and cream. Knead a smooth, uniform dough. Divide the dough into two parts, wrap in foil and put in the fridge for a while.

Peel the apples, remove the seed nests and cut into slices. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add apples and 2-3 tablespoons of water and simmer under the cover until slightly softened. Pour lemon jelly in powder, mix thoroughly. Finally, add dried fruit and breadcrumbs, mix and set aside to cool.

Roll out the first part of the dough and put it in the form lined with baking paper (cake tin about 26 cm). Spread the apple mass evenly. Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the apples with it or grate on a thick grater and sprinkle the top.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 45 minutes, until the top is nicely browned.
