Thiago Martins, 37, opened his heart about his health after facing a pulmonary problem. The actor and singer talked about it during the release of the movie “Sexa”, in which he starred in the side of Gloria Pires.
Diagnosed with pulmonary histoplasmosis, one caused by the inhalation of fungus spores Histoplasma capsulatumhe said he is already in the recovery phase and resuming the routine.

“I had a pulmonary histoplasmosis and now I have been doing physiotherapy, but, thank God, the fungus no longer exists in the lung. It was a complicated moment, only work, home, work, but I’m happy, I’m healed and now is training again,” he said in conversation with Gshow.
The actor also revealed that he lost weight during the process: “I lost 10 kg. And it is one of the symptoms of histoplasmosis, weight loss and joint inflammation. So now I’m taking care of my knee, that’s where histoplasmosis attacked, and now again to go slowly, strengthening, knee mobility. But I’m happy because I’m healed.”
Thiago was thrilled to talk about Gloria Pires, recalling the long partnership with the actress, with whom she has played in different stages of her career. He highlighted the admiration for her, who in addition to acting, also signs the direction of “Sexa”, in which they form a romantic pair: “Gloria and I, we met when I was 16 to 17 years old, in Greece. It was my second soap opera, which was beautiful. And soon after we met in Babylon, in a soap opera of Gilberto Braga, in which we did romantic pair.”
