French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini also congratulated the leader of YES Andrej Babiš to win the elections to the Chamber of Deputies. Babiš read a congratulatory SMS in French from Macron. His election victory was also congratulated by his colleagues from the Patrioti political group for Europe (PFE) – Chairman of the French opposition party National Association Jordan Bardella and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini.
Salvini expects Babiš to focus on the fight against migration, stopping the war in Ukraine, and also on “stopping the crazy policy of Brussels”. The Italian Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the excellent result of the motorist party.
“In the Czech Republic it is a tidal wave in favor of freedom of business, for the end of repressive ecology and against uncontrolled immigration,” He wrote on X Bardella and congratulated the YES movement.
In the elections to the Chamber of Deputies after counting 99.91 percent of the vote YES won the YES Movement with 34.58 percent of the votes cast. The coalition is second with 23.32 percent and the third is the mayors and independent movement with 11.21 percent. The turnout reached 69 percent.
