Chinese robots will modernize Renault factory in Brazil

Automated equipment from Maihe Robotics arrives in the country and will be used in the new production line of the automaker

A remittance of intelligent welding lines for automobiles intended for Brazil departed on Monday (29.Set) of Weifang, east of China, bound for Curitiba (PR), said the Chinese company, responsible for the project.

The Industrial Robotics Solution Company revealed that the lot, valued at 7.05 million euros, will be used at the Renault do Brasil factory, which will soon introduce two new vehicle models.

The project covers the addition of automated equipment and the modernization of shared tooling for the side body line, the ceiling line and the assembly and adjustment line, scheduled to be completed at the beginning of 2026.

According to Maihe, the production lines it provides could reach up to 60 units per hour, a level that is among the most advanced in the international market, demonstrating the strength of “Smart Manufacture of China”.
