The family of 30 -year -old Bruna Araújo de Souza, who is hospitalized after eating an alcohol combo, suspected of methanol contamination, was informed that the hospital opened a protocol of Confirmation of brain death.

The young woman would have drunk a vodka combo with peach juice during a show in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) last Sunday (28). She got sick the next day, with vomiting, nausea and blurred vision, as a friend reports.

According to the City of São Bernardo do Campo, the city has 30 notifications, a confirmation of contamination and four deaths. Of all cases, 26 patients are residents of the municipality, including two who died.
