Nice – The International IIHF EISHOCKEIS is organizing the European Cup of Nations in addition to the annual World Championships from the 2026/27 season. Austria is also among the 18 participants. Other current A-nations such as Germany, Slovakia, Norway, Denmark, Slovenia and Italy are also competing. The tournament will be played in the usual international breaks in November, December and February in groups of three and four.
