Given the concern of Brazilians with the alcoholic, the (Landless rural workers movement) has taken the opportunity to publicize the group’s handcrafted cachaça.
“Are you afraid of methanol in the marvada? Relax, comrade! Here is just Cachaça do MST: pure, the fields and without rascal. Drink without poison and toast for the revolution,” says the poster produced for the Neusa Paviato Fair in Campinas (SP).
About 100 MST family farmers participate in the second edition of the fair until this Sunday (5). The event also has typical regional dishes, fashion and handicraft products, shows, seminars and debates.
The minister (agrarian development and family farming) participated in the opening on Friday (3). “It is a state event that tends to grow, to grow very importantly. It is a gastronomic, cultural event that brings the products of family farming,” he said.
