Presidential residence wanted to storm demonstrators in Tbilisi

Tiflis – A group of demonstrators tried on the day of the local elections in Georgia to storm the presidential residence in the capital of Tbilisi. Several dozen demonstrators came to the inner courtyard of the palace in Atoneli-Straße on Saturday, the news agency Newsgeorgia reported. On local television it was seen how the police pushed back the demonstrators who had torn a massive metal fence and had entered the site in front of the building.
