US musician Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was convicted on New York to four years and two months in prison for prostitution-related crimes.
The judge said that a long time was necessary for dissuasion and that he was not convinced that if Combs is released, these crimes will not be repeated.
The sentence hearing took place at the New York Court, where the tycoon was tried, with his presence and before a large crowd.
Six of the rapper’s seven children begged the judge to tears a “second opportunity” for his father, the Associated Press (AP) agency (AP) reported.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September 2024 and accused of conspiracy of organized crime, extortion and two accusations of sexual trafficking, involving ex-girlfriends Cassie Ventura and ‘Jane’ (pseudonym).
The musician was acquitted in July of the main charges, which had a more serious sentence of life imprisonment and convicted of two accusations regarding a crime of prostitution, including transportation with the intention of promoting prostitution.
Prosecutors asked 11 years in prison to Sean “Diddy” Combs, with 55, founder of Bad Boy Records and has been a multifaceted figure in hip hop culture for decades.
