The Salzburg native won the ninth of ten season races in Lake Placid on Saturday and drove back onto the top podium in the World Cup for the first time in 474 days. A month ago, the 23-year-old in Champery in Switzerland won the World Cup title in the non-Olympic downhill competition for the fourth time.
