Coffee apple cake is an example of an ideal autumn dessert that will never get bored. In a soft, fluffy yeast dough, aromatic slices of apples are embedded, surrounded by cinnamon and brown sugar. During baking, the fruit caramelizes, releasing a wonderful smell, just like in homemade apple pie (although this baking is more fluffy and light than it). Each bite is a combination of delicate sweetness with a hint of fruit acidity. It is also worth remembering about healthy apple properties – they have a lot of vitamins and dietary fiber. That is why it is better to eat such a dessert than “empty calories” in highly processed cookies or bars from the store. It is worth drinking such yeast with fruit with a cup of your favorite coffee or tea.
Ingredients:
- 480 g of wheat flour,
- egg,
- 200 ml of milk,
- 100 g cukru,
- 50 g of butter,
- 40 g of fresh yeast,
- Packaging of vanilla sugar,
- a kilo of apples (preferably slightly acidic),
- a bit of cinnamon,
- a bit of brown sugar,
- a pinch of salt,
- Fat to smear the mold.
Method of performance:
Melt the butter and leave to cool.
Mix half a glass of summer milk with a teaspoon of sugar and a few tablespoons of flour. Rub with yeast. Cover the solution and set aside in a warm place to rise.
When it doubles the volume, add the sifted rest of the flour, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and egg. Flexible dough. Add summer melted butter and knead for a while to absorb. Cover and set aside again in a warm place to rise.
Prepare apples. They should be peeled, hollowed and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle them with cinnamon, brown sugar and mix. When the dough doubles the volume, transfer it to a greased form (cake tin about 26 cm). Place the apples on top.
Insert in the oven preheated to 100 ° C. After 10 minutes, increase the temperature to 180 ° C and bake for about 50 minutes, until the apples are slightly browned and the dough is browned.
